iPhone Is it worth to update my 5S to iOS 8.1 JB?

it's up to you. i love it on my 5S, but that's me. look thru threads here, check the ios8 compatibility thread. what apps do you rely on? are they available for ios8?
and if you're gonna do it, do it soon. 8.1.1 is around the corner...and (for now, anyway) that is not jb'able...
a) go to the list of tweaks on your phone
b) load the spreadsheet of tweak compatibility
c) see which of your tweaks haven't been updated for iOS 8.1
d) you make the decision if you can live without them right now
You're asking us to make what is a personal decision. If everything is working to your satisfaction, may as well stay with what you have, why are you even asking? Heck, keep that iOS and that phone the rest of your life.
In all seriousness though, this isn't a question anyone except you can answer. Your device is fine now, so it's up to you if the benefits of iOS 8 are worth the trade-offs of potentially losing some tweaks now and possibly forever.

I wouldn't! I upgraded from a 7.1.1 5 to a 8.1 5S and I have nothing but trouble with WiFi now. Pages are slow to load in Safari and audio streams constantly get dropped. My WiFi signal is solid. Pages load a lot faster with Chrome. Jail breaking was nice, but didn't help.
I have 5S on 8.1 jailbreaked. Had all the jailbreaks ever, starting from iphone 4. There is just no way, I would stay on previos IOS and JB, if there is a new one out. Right now, I can tell you, there is absolutely no difference in speed and battery life between 7.1.2 JB and 8.1 JB.
Ok, we are still waiting for some tweaks to get updated, but that's the whole fun of playing, isn't it

I've heard that it's not optimized and updated to work on 8.1, but in reality it does, at least partially until the first respring. Is this true?
This is one of the most important tweaks for me, it ranks always on one of the first three places when it comes to JB my devices...

Tried it out on 8.1. Installed, resprung, phone didn't boot up, had to go into safe mode, delete the tweak, then reboot. Sacrificed 5% of my battery for you, you're welcome.
