Now that some people have upgraded from the 13 pro max to the 14 pro max.. Is it worth upgrading? I am seriously debating it.

How is the weight difference?

So far, I'm enjoying my 14 PM more than my 13 PM. You can only decide for yourself.

I’d say it’s not worth it. If you’re interested in having the latest features then sure. But from an average user’s standpoint, there’s nothing critical in this update other than perhaps crash detection and satellite connectivity. Edit: that said I upgraded since I’m on iUP, but considering returning the 14 Pro, or exchanging for pro max.

For most people, no. I did though. The 13PM was problematic for me; the thermals on it were very poor and anytime the phone was used outdoors, on 5G, the screen would dim to an unreadable level. TBD whether the 14PM is better in this regard.

I’d say yes, if you want the latest and greatest. Is the phone going to change your life? No, probably not. But in its own right it is a solid upgrade on par with going from the 12 to the 13. My only qualm so far is that I don’t think the battery life is as nice as it was on the 13 PM when I had it but that may be due to the AOD, which is strange because when I’m not actively using the 14 PM it is in my pocket which turns off the screen. It could also be a rogue app not yet fully optimized for the new phone running in the background but I’ll find that out over the coming days.

But all in all I’m really liking this phone so far.

The only reason I upgraded from my 13 pro was to get the max size. Oh, and the camera. I hated the 13 pro camera.
