is it worth upgrading to the latest firmware?

im still on the previews firmware, the one before last

my atv2 is jailbroken & working ok

i havent notice any issues


did the latest firmware fix anything for you guys ?

i had trouble going into DFU mode & was getting some itunes errors but with some google searching i was able to do the jailbreak, but it took a while

im wondering if its worth upgrading to the newest firmware

It fixed a lot with me. My rips that previously didn't have sound worked again, my Avatar rip worked again, the fast forward and rewind are flawless now, and the remote app seems to connect better now.

The Youtube subscriptions are in proper chronological order again. I don't know about you but that was very important to me. When they weren't in order, I couldn't tell when new stuff was available.

I went ahead and updated firmware & did the jailbreak

It was a lot easier than last time

It fixed an issue that I never saw reported... every time I added new content to my itunes... at least videos I either had to close and reopen itunes or reset the Atv or the was say something like No Media detected. Now there is no issue.. when there is new content it just auto refreshes after I back up and go back into "Computer".
