Probably will come with 128GB base storage, A15/A16 and BT and WiFi updated. I wish another update would be laminated display, but that would require a new thinner design and that was just recently updated.

Also maybe a bump to 6GB RAM?

Right now the 256GB iPad 10 is 440€.

I’m not sure if it will make the jump to 128 GB actually, especially considering they lowered the price.

It will most likely just get a A chip upgrade Is my guess. it might get the A pro chip in order to take advantage of the AI features

I expect Apple will keep the 10th gen like how they kept the 9th gen and release the 11th gen at $449.

I would be pleasantly surprised if they release the 11th gen at $349.

This.

Also, I expect 64/6 at best, though as they offered four storage tiers on the Air, 128 will probably be available for those who want to pay for it. If it’s a paid upgrade, it pushes people up to the Air where it comes as standard.

It just seems too early for 128 base storage at entry level given that the mid range line only just got it.

I think 11th generation iPad will get either M1 or A18 (with 8GB RAM), mainly for Apple Intelligence compatibility. I think the recent price cut for 10th generation more or less count as a refresh, so I wouldn't expect such update until spring 2025 at the earliest.

Maybe, but feels a bit redundant for me to have a $449 iPad in between the cheaper one and the M2 Air

I think they priced the iPad 10 higher originally to recover some of the R&D cost, and now that they have, they were able to price it lower

I guess in that way it does make more sense.

Depends what you wanted to do with your iPad. I was on iPad 8 but want to do more music editing/recording so an Air seemed a better bet. I picked up a refurbed iPad Air M1 for a good price and it’s superb.
