Is OSX Sierra Worth Installing on Late 2011 MBP?

My late 2011 MBP is currently on El Capitan and I was wondering if anyone has noticed any issues installing the new OSX on the Late 2011 MBP models?

If you have the 15" and it's on an SSD with decent RAM, it should work fairly well. Here's my experience I posted on another thread FWIW: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...k-pro-early-2011.1998985/page-2#post-23559905

Btw, the Late 2011 and Early 2011 are very similar in hardware. So I'm expecting the late model to offer a very similar or a better experience to the early model.

No I haven't updated anything in the computer since I bought it. It is a 13in MBP.
I've had the hard drive replaced twice through apple care, but was considering swapping it with a SSD soon.

On a stock mid2010 mbp and it seems to be working fine.
Just got it last night so still playing around with it, at this stage it appears to be working even a touch better than El Cap. Anxious to test it out this weekend.

I have an MBP Early 2011 15'' and facing the problem with the blurred screen when I reduce / change the resolution size from standard to a lower one. I don't have this problem, when I have the standard scaled resolution. I tried everything from PRAM to SMC Reset, restarting, quitting all apps. Nothing worked. Also I never used Photos before, but i started and quit it by myself. Still the blurred screen / fonts are there since I updated from El Capitan to Sierra (10.12.2). In El Capitan and also before I never had this kind of problem. It is very frustrating and I cannot use my setup like before. Aynonelse facing these issues or has other suggestions?

Also in the Apple forum 2011 MPB owner are reporting this problem. (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7725238?start=0&tstart=0)

See the thread about how Sierra causes MBP screens to become blurred at lower resolutions.

I recently installed 10.12 on an old MBA 2010 (Core 2 Duo) running 10.9. It makes 10.9 feel really slow. So while I cannot compare that old MBA vs. 10.11, 10.12 beats the **** out of 10.9 in terms of UI fluidity.

OS X 10.9 aka Mavericks is the absolute worst OS X I've ever had. I have a MBPr 15inch mid 2012 and when I went from Mountaion Lion to Mavericks really nothing improved... It drained so much battery, it overheated the computer for no particular reason, crashed often and was overall buggy compared to Mountain Lion. I regret ever going to that OS X so I went back to Mountain Lion last year and I've been there since. It really tore on my computer.

I recently upgraded a MPB 13" late 2011 with an SSD and 8Gb of RAM and installed El Capitan on it. The MBP has been on OS X Lion since it was purchased and I just now made the leap to El Capitan. It runs very smooth on El Capitan and I think I made the right choice of OS X but I noticed that it drains around 8-12% over night when the lid is closed.
The MPB late 2011 had a surprisingly good battery capacity of 90% and it has never been replaced... So I really hope that El Capitan isn't gonna wear down the battery too much. I made a similar thread because I didn't know what OS X to choose if you're interested:

if your graphics interface still works on these old MBP's i would stay with what ever you got on it now
