Is Macs Fan Control safe on 2019 MBP 13"?

Hi,

My early 2019 2.8ghz i7 MBP 13" gets way hot even when I am not crunching 4k video. The numbers do not approach 100 degree mark but the palm rest gets uncomfortably hot.

I've heard good things as well as bad things about Macs Fan Control. Some say that the computer handles the fan
the best and slowing one fan etc can cause issues.

What I would like to do is to have the fan kick in earlier when it is powered via AC.

Have you had any issues with MFC?
