Sinetempore, a user asked on Apple Discussions about exporting emails in High Sierra. I don't have a big folder to test. Can anyone verify is unlimited folder size is now limited?

This is new to me: with High Sierra I am not able to export .mbox file larger than 2.15Gb. My Inbox is 2.9Gb, when I export it, the .mbox file size is always 2.15Gb!!! And if I import this 2.15Gb file, hundreds e-mails are missing from my original Inbox.

Are they trying to export to an external FAT32 drive?

I tried to save the mbox file in the iMac HD and in a FAT32, EXFAT or any other drive type... same result, 2.15Gb file.

Why not just break a large mailbox into smaller ones and export and import them separately?
