I'm considering buying mBoxMail as I only use Hotmail for my email services.
Has anyone bought it?
Is it worth it?
What are the positives/negatives to it?

Thanks guys

Ben.

I actually just downloaded it a few days ago. It was hard to spend that much for an app, but so far I think it was totally worth it. It loads emails relatively quickly and makes hotmail looks just like the regular iphone email function. It even puts a little red dot with the number of unopened emails on the front of the app.

The only drawback is that it isn't push email and as far as I know it doesn't independently check for new emails. You have to open the app and ask it to look for new emails. However, I think that might change with the next firmware update.

I too use Hotmail exclusively so the day it was available I ponied up and bought the App. Since that day I have yet to have a problem with the App, not even a crash. It also works in both normal and landscape views (which helps with photos). Using the App is very simple and to the point and the layout is very clean. While I hate to pay so much for an App I have to say I am actually getting my monies worth on this one. If you use Hotmail exclusively and don't want to deal with one of the services supported by the phone I would go for it.

I put up a review about it awhile back. If you type longer emails from your iPhone, I think it's worth it. If you just do short SMS's, etc, it's probably not.
