iPad Is midnight blue as in this pic

I didn't find any good iPad picture, but please, is the midnight blue case usually like in this picture or much darker? I'm still trying to decide btw it and black.

Right now I have the original Air with black case,

in real life, midnight blue is very close to black. It's not until you hold it next to a black case where you start seeing it more as a blue, or if you hold it directly in bright lighting.

In the end I had to replace the iPad Air's blue smart case with a black one, and just got the iPad Air 2 with the Midnight Blue smart case. To be honest it looks much nicer in person, every picture I ve seen gave me a wrong idea, maybe it's the camera flash or whatever. In person I really liked midnight blue over black.
