Is my disk usage normal?

Hi everyone, I was looking at Activity Monitor today and I noticed after 12 days of uptime, I've written around 125gb to the SSD. Most of it from kernel task. I've just been web browsing and doing some light gaming. Is this normal and why is kernel task using so much? I'm also barely writing any swap. Thanks.

A simple question:
Have you tried rebooting?

If you're doing Time Machine backups then those will show up coming from kernel_task.
