Hi!

Just returned to my computer (iMac G5), woke it up and found that menues and transparent areas in the OS looked weird:

Tried to switch to 256 colors: http://www.beakid.se/256colors.png

Have tried to restart, uninstall OS-skin-enhancers etc but it doesn't change.

HOWEVER, the problem was solved when I booted in "safe mode". The 256 colors mode still looked weird, but it was all good in Millions colors.

Anyone who can help me out?

To me it looks like fault graphics ram, run the Apple Hardware Test provided with the machine to check.

looks like artifacts to me, i think your card is messed up. :( if you still have warrenty you should get it fixed.
