Is my iPad Pro 10.5 battery life normal?

Hi there.

Disclaimer:

I experience this behaviour on both of my iPad Pro 10.5 Cellular 256 GB.

Both have the same settings:

AirPlane Mode

Wifi + BT on

Almost all location services off + Most apps on While Using only and none on Always

BAR off

Health of both acc to Coconut Battery - Usually 85-90% or so. Acc to Apple 95% and 96% respectively. Both have around 250 cycles.

Both have been setup as fresh and not restored from a backup. Both via DFU restore iOS 12.3.1.

Usage Pattern Drain per hour (approx) (40- 50% brightness):

Reddit / Tapatalk - 9-10% per hour

Safari - 13-15% per hour

NetFlix / Prime (Full Screen + Speakers off) - 10-12% per hour

NetFlix / Prime (Full Screen + Quad Speakers on full) - 15% per hour

Intense Apple Mail sessions with constant momentary swapping back and forth with Safari - 20% an hour

Multitasking Usage Pattern Drain per hour (approx) (40-50% brightness):

NetFlix / Prime PiP mode (Quad speakers on full) + Safari = Almost 20% drain per hour

Apple Mail + Safari + Pip mode = Easily 20% drain per hour minimum.

Standby Drain Overnight:

Minimum 1-4% overnight over 8 hrs or so. Sometimes a lot more.

Also, every time I start using the iPad after a few minutes/hours of standby, I lose the first 5-10% very quickly. Like 1% every 1-2 minutes or so.

Typing or using much touch also drains the battery very quickly. For both my iPads.

Is this normal?

Thank You!

Update:

I checked out the iPad Pro 11 at the Apple store and it exhibited the same type of battery drain. It wasn’t much better. Maybe very slightly. So I guess my usage just isn’t typical.

There still is one issue that’s not warranted.

After a few hours of standby my iPads drain rather quickly when I start using them again. My mom’s iPad doesn’t drain like that. So that’s not okay.
