I bought a used iPhone 11 Pro and have noticed some brightness flickering. It maybe happens once every twenty minutes and lasts for a second or two. I had a look in the display settings to see if I could tweak something to fix it and noticed that the "True tone" setting was missing. This got me worried that the display isn't genuine, but when looking in Settings (General -> About) for the "Important display message"-text I couldn't find it.
Is it possible that true tone is missing with the original display? Is it possible that the display has been replaced with a non-genuine one without the "Important display message" appearing? Are there any other methods of checking if it's genuine?
I have two weeks to return the phone and if it's not genuine I'll send it back immediately.
