Is my iPhone 3GS more likely to sell with 3.1.2?

Well, we all know the next iPhone is coming out later on in June/July, and I'm planning on selling the phone once the new one comes out. Since I have a 16GB 3GS with 3.1.2, are people more likely to buy it since it can be jailbroken and unlocked?
What I'm trying to say is, let's say there is a 16GB 3GS with 3.1.3 in excellent condition selling for $450. Now I come along and post mine up, 16GB 3GS in excellent condition as well, but with 3.1.2... Can I sell mine at a higher price, lets say $550, since anyone can jailbreak/unlock it and customize it and/or use on T-Mobile or any other network?
Are people willing to pay about $100 for these advantages?

Chances are that the next iPhone will have a newer baseband that won't be unlocked for a while. It may even take a while to develop a jailbreak exploit so as of now, they're going to sell better if the firmware/baseband hasn't been updated.

After the release of the new one, it's anybody's guess. Apple may surprise everybody with the features they're currently jailbreaking for and older model iPhones will become obsolete.

As yet we don't know when Apple will release the next iPhone. Everyone is just guessing due to when the last phones have been released. They probably will be released June/July, but it seems silly to sell your phone now, just incase we have to wait until Aug/Sept.
