Hi,

I've had my phone for a little while, and I've set up the Wi-fi with my home network. I think its connected, because in the wi-fi settings there's a tick by the network name, and initially I see the wifi signal in the top left hand corner.

However, once I go to a webpage through safari, the wifi signal disappears and changes to 3G.....is this normal? Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

I'm not very technologically minded, so any suggestions welcome!

Sounds like something might be interfering with your wifi connectivity. Are there any other computers using your wireless network? How close/far away are you from your base station?

If you are close and its not working, a good reset might be in order. (of the phone and router)

The 3G might be faster. I think it will switch connections if one is faster than the other? Also, you might be having problems with your router. Try turning on airplane mode and turning wifi back on and see if it works.
