Hi everyone,
I have reset my iPhone in iTunes and when I turn it on, I get the picture telling me to connect my iPhone to iTunes. Does this mean that my phone is completely reset and safe to sell to someone. I have just upgraded to a new one and want to sell my old one but want it completely free of any of my data.
Sorry if this has already been asked.
Thank you
Stu

as long as you did restore > restore as new phone in itunes then yes, you have done enough. and since you are getting the "connect to itunes" message it sounds like you did just that. you should be fine to sell it.

Hi,
I didn't realise you could reset it on the phone itself. Cool, well it now displays the same message as my new phone so happy days..ebay here I come!
Thnkas very much.
