Is my logic board dead?

Hi, I spilt some water on my trackpad a couple days back. Suuuper sad. I replaced the trackpad and bought a new HDD. Before I install the HDD, I want to make sure the logic board is okay. It was working fine but now some letters I push don’t type or do random other functions. Is my logic board toast? Should I just return my new HDD and call it a day? Thanks for your help!

There may still be moisture inside the unit. I recommend removing and cleaning as many components as possible and then let it dry for days.

Thanks for the clarification. Personally, I would start shopping for a replacement Macbook because replacing the gpu chip is very expensive and it may fail without any warning.

If there is no corrosion on the keyboard connector, the likely culprit is a bad keyboard.
