MP 1,1-5,1 Is my Mac Dead? (5.1)

Hello

Need to check if my mac is dead.
After shifting to my new place, I powered up the 5.1s.
One powered up normally, on the other there seems to be a spark. (I could hear the tiny PIAK sound)

Since I have 2 mac pros, I think I have confirmed that the power supply is gone.
When I plug in the working power supply, the LED on the MB will light up. The diag LED will also light up the 5v/3.3v LED when I press the diag button.

But I get no response when I press the power button.

Is that a sign the motherboard is also gone?

A quick check on ebay, I can get a powersupply and MB for about $300, is it still worth it? hmm...

Have you ever de-dusted your faulty cMP's power supply ?

Removing the PSU is not hard .. just tedious.

if you DO remove the PSU don't ouch anything inside it = dangerous.
Use canned air.

Money would be on bad motherboard. I just had to replace mine.
