I put a DVD in and it made a really really strange noise then spit it out. I tried a normall CD and it worked. I don't currently have any other DVDs to check with. What could be the problem??

And after a re-boot?

You'd need to try another dvd if you were going to call AppleCare, I'm sure, otherwise they'd blame that one dvd.

Also try searching the net for the dvd title and if other people have had problems with it.

P.S. Please get over yourself! International forum; I'm guessing his English is better than any other language you speak. I'm also going to assume you don't know another three languages. If you do - I stand corrected. As do you - word , not work . Guess you weren't quick enough on the edit!

Maybe the DVD is dirty and needs cleaning. I know that some of my DVD players do a better job than others in playing dirty DVDs. I would suggest to get a cleaning kit for the DVD and see if it helps.
