Is Nvidia going to release web drivers for 10.9.5?

With the security update for Mavericks, does anyone know if Nvidia is going to release web drivers for this build? Or is Mavericks at a dead end in terms of web driver support?

You can change requirement for driver in nvdastartup.kext and change your build number in /S/L/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist,

after one of changes it will work again.

There was a tutorial around here at one point for how to just comment out the part of the driver that checks your OS X version, that would probably be the best way to go, since I'm not sure if changing your build number itself could mess up future updates.

NVIDIA has released new web drivers for 10.8 and 10.9, just with less urgency than for the latest OS. I can imagine all these security updates are putting additional strain on their QA resources, and the 10.8 and 10.9 updates are just lower in priority compared with 10.10 and 10.11. So, I'd suggest being patient or updating to 10.10 in order to get the best support for your GPU if you really need the web driver.

Yes, except I don't remember if one needs to add kext-dev-mode=1 for 10.9 .

When I nvram -p, it already says kext-dev-mode=1 so I'm assuming I'm good?

Here are my boot args

boot-args kext-dev-mode=1 nvda_drv=1
