Is o2's 3G network down?

when my phone arrived I played with the 3g before connecting it to my wifi network and all was well. I came to test the gps and check my mail on the go today and even though the 3g logo was on the menu bar I kept bieng told by the phone "could not connect to the internet"

All my settigs are correct as I connected sucessfully before this.
Anyone havig similar problems?

Mine was happened just 10 mins ago..
The 3G network was perfectly fine until I turned on the WIFI trying to watch TOP GEAR on BBC iPlayer.

After I turned off the WIFI, the phone couldn't connect to 3G anymore.

Is there anybody experiencing the same situation?

You may need to just switch the phone off and on

3g wasn't working at all for me and I noticed on the O2 site that it said you had to switch the phone off and on to make it recognise changes if you were on a PAYG sim.
