I'd really like to start working on an N-Body + SPH type code and think OpenCL would be ideal for this. I've applied to nVidia's GPU computing registered developer program to get access to their pre-release Windows OpenCL drivers but, of course, that would mean programming in Windows. If Snow Leopard's current builds already have OpenCL support then I'd definitely look into getting work to purchase a developer connection license.

I'm also interested in this. I'm using CUDA, but I'd like to start using OpenCL for financial simulations.

Are the finished (and working ;)) OpenCL drivers for the 8600 GTM included in the 10A380 preview?

Yes, there is an implementation of OpenCL included in 10A380, check /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenCL, the header files and libs are there.
