The hard drive on my 2013 macbook air failed and was replaced and the OS is now Catalina (was high Sierra). The old HD had pages installed but it was never updated or purchased so there is no record of pages on my appstore account.
I have some pages documents on the cloud that I can no longer work with as Catalina does not support a new pages download.
I found an old external hard drive which was used to back up the original macbook with time machine.
Would the time machine backup on the external hard drive be compatible with Catalina and would I be able to restore pages using it?
I haven't yet attached the external hard drive to the repaired macbook air - is there anything I need to be aware of if/when I do so?
