I'm asking because a friend of mine wants his iPod touch 2 gen jailbreaked, and I think that he'll want a untethered one.

for info, his iPod is iPod Touch 2nd Generation, the redsn0w version 0.9.6b6, iOS Firmware 4.2.1.

Yes, greenpois0n on 4.2.1 is untethered. Had it on my 2g iPod touch.
