The thing I find most annoying about the 'pro' screens on 2017 model is their dreadful response time.
Yes the feted '120 Hz' means frame to frame is smoother, but the pixels don't fade out any faster, meaning although there are double the frames, you still see a smear on high contrast edges as the LEDs fade out.
Try it - slide side to side and look at the edges of the app icons on a high contrast (i.e. dark icons if you have a light background, or vice versa) - I clearly see a smear.
Even black text on a white background - the poor response time totally undermines the 120Hz benefit - hoping it's better on the 2018 models?
