I am worried that the data would still be recoverable from a restored iPhone after seeing some 3rd party software sites that claim to do it ( I don't know if these are just spam websites).
I read that apple provides hardware encryption since the iPhone 3GS so it isn't possible to do so.
I also read some articles stating that iPhones and blackberry are the most secure and it's enough to restore them, and that iphone became even more secure with iOS 8.

So is it safe enough to restore the iPhone by tapping on "erase all data and settings" ?

It's safe; I haven't heard of anyone recovering data from a restored phone.

Make sure that you do all of these so that the new owner doesn't run into any of the anti-theft systems.

Okay thank you :), I have already done these steps but I was just worried that the data can be recovered.
