Is "Scale to fit below built-in camera" broken for anyone else?

I'm trying to show the full menubar under the notch on my M1 Max Macbook Pro (in Keynote, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and it's simply not working. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm running macOS 12.6. I've checked the toggle in all info panels and it's simply not working. I've also tried restarting my Mac hoping that would help, but that didn't fix it. Thanks for your help!

Thanks! I’ll have to give it a try. Does it just make the menubar black? In my case, I actually need to bump my menubar below the notch.
