i set up multiple contacts on the iphone but they do not seem to sync back to the mac address book.

How can I fix this?

I am having the same problem with Bookmarks.I am rather annoyed by this.

I spent 30 minutes last night re-organizing all my bookmarks only to find Safari on my Mac didn't update.

Also co-worker was playing with my phone when she realized I misspelled her name. She corrected it, but if I didn't remember to fix it on my Mac, then it would have gotten lost.

i should prompt you at each sync if you'd like to allow the iphone to add contacts to address book.app

I've been making edits to both my address book and iCal lists, as well as adding new photos to my address book from both the iPhone end and my iMac desktop, and so far it appears that every sync has worked in both directions.

The only strange thing that happened the first few days was that when I set the iPhone in the charger, iPhoto would often launch (to sync pics) but iTunes would not. If I launched iTunes manually, my iPhone would then show up on iTunes and all syncs would take place.

Today, however, iTunes launched right away and did the job.

Gremlins I tell ya!
;)

I got a prompt saying that i'll update my address book, I just said allow and got the contacts I added on my phone to my Address Book on my mac. They should just check each other out and update what's not updated.
