Is the 2016 MBP fast enough?

The 13 inch non touch bar MacBook Pro. I5, 8gb ram. Is it fast enough for music production fairly heavy production, or should I invest more heavily into the 2015 15 inch MacBook Pro? Not willing to invest into the 2016 15inch hah. What one shall I buy tomorrow?

you know, you are allowed to respond to your started threads. you don't need to keep starting new ones. maybe realize too that your question is vague and make a better case for what you are asking. there is no standard measure of "fast enough for music production". maybe you should be looking for a more specialized forum.
