SO, I am in the market for a new laptop. I am 16 and have $1300 already. I am starting a job at Mcdonalds next week and should have the money within 2 weeks. I thought the macbook 2.4 was a sure thing for me. But I have wanted the air since it came out and it has been calling me ever since. I have a 20inch imac and dont do anything graphic intensive. I would miss the built in dvd drive but I dont travel much so the external would be fine but most of my movies are on my imac already so i would just transfer them. I already have external hard drives so storage isnt an issue. The only thing holding me back is the trackpad the new macbooks have. Does the MBA's work the same way only its not clickable? I would love the small form factor. Would I really see a difference in the speed of the things i do like: internet, itunes, movies, and some older pc games? All the pc games I have play on my brother toshiba that my mom bought for him for christmas 2 years ago for $359. Does bootcamp work good on this? (preferably Windows 7 users) And anyone who was in the same bot as me why did you choose the air or vice versa?
