just typed my password in the App Store as I had to download an app from it. The problem is I'm in China on hotel wifi. Will there be any security issues like spyware if I key in my apple account password there? I'm using Yosemite definitely.

China at one stage had fake Apple Stores where the staff even thought they worked for Apple so frankly, who knows...

I never log into anything that could involve money from china hotels.

With the recent attack on companies by the great cannon, anything is possible. They highjack the DNS server calls, and last time I was there, any website that had a Facebook link (facebook.js file) was swapped for an alternative that re-routed you to companies that didn't like Chinese policies.
