Is the current silver color the same as the 2015 and earlier MacBook Pros?

Basically the title. To my eyes sometimes it seems like current silver has more of a brightness/shine/shimmer than the 2009-2015 models. Wondering if you all agree or if it’s just my eyes playing tricks on me after getting used to space gray. Thanks!

I would say they're pretty darn close. Can't say they've been 100% identical over the years, but they're all far closer than the different shades of "space gray" have been.
