If $500 is nothing to you, then go ahead and get it.
If you plan on running bootcamp and playing games on it, you'll want the extra graphics memory, or if you plan on driving a 30" LCD as an extended display you'll need it.
the extra 200mhz isn't noticeable to make a difference. You'll get a better return by saving the $500, selling your MBP in 2 years, and applying the 500$ + sales money for a new MBP.
