Can I access my books and PDFs from the finder, like with Pages or Numbers documents, when using macOS? Or is the folder supposed to be hidden and only available through the iBooks app?

I can't see it and just want to make sure that this is not a bug and that there really is no option to show it. Because I really would like to be able to access it through the Finder/Terminal.

When it comes to accessing your iBooks data, or even exchanging/exporting them, I personally found iBooks very, very poor - in fact, the poorest.

On my Mac, iBooks do not show up in iCloud drive, but as we have previously discussed we are both using split Apple-IDs so who knows.

On the other hand, you can find them manually in Terminal by looking in:

"Library/Mobile Documents/iCloud~com~apple~iBooks/Documents"
