Is the ipad pro 10.5 still a good buy?

Is the ipad pro 10.5 still a good buy? My main concern remains that of the reliability of the device. (bright spot problem). Technically speaking the device is very suitable for my needs. Are there any other major issues with this release. Problems that could put a stop to a purchase?

IMO, yes. I just bought one on sale. Not worrying about the bright spot issue. After dealing with touch screen irresponsiveness on the 2017 12.9 which is far worse, I’ve decided to purchase any Apple product on discount and enjoy it.

Unfortunately with the way Apple assemble their devices now, it’s a crap shoot.

And folks have had success in getting their affected 10.5’s swapped.

I would buy it only at a great discount...mid cycle when it was the current product staples and Microcenter had them starting at $500.
