Is it just my imagination, or does text on the iPad Pro 12.9" M2 mini-led screen look sharper/crisper than on the M4 oled screen? I've made the comparison at several different Stores with my 12.9" M2, comparing it with the demo 13" M4's. Every single time I've found that text looked sharper on the M2. Has anyone else noticed this too?

I see. Have you compared the two side by side? Just asking because by itself the M4 may not look unsharp, it's only when comparing them side by side that you can see the difference (or at least I can see the difference).

I have an M1 12.9 which display-wise looks like the M2 - I compared when I tried one as an update and returned. I also have an M4 13" so I can look at them side by side in different ways at home.

This is due to OLED sub-pixel structure. Apple should’ve used a higher res 326ppi display. Plus it would make then ”grain” issue inherent to OLED way less noticeable.

True, a higher resolution display would certainly make text sharper, but it would probably also make the iPad much more expensive.
