I currently use an iPhone XR, and it feels like a brick. I like the specs of the 13 pro but don't want to move up in weight, so will get the regular 13 for now. If the 14 Pro's weight goes down due to titanium, I'll likely trade in for that.

Yup. Getting a mini this year. Weight and size are the factors for me this year. I have a 7+ right now and that will be used as my backup phone.

Yes. Going with the 13 (from the 11). Even with the additional 13 Pro features, the extra weight is not worth it. Actually, I’m excited that the 13 is 20 grams less than the 11. Portability and usability are priorities.

Going from the 11 to the 12 the drop in weight was really nice. The weight increase with the 13 is marginal and still less than the 11 but the 13 doesn’t interest me spec wise, the pro is edging towards being too heavy. Will see what the 14 series brings.

Titanium would be nice for the weight but I think that's only on the Pro models. Maybe they do Titanium on the non-Pro models for the 15 or 16. This 13 mini will have to last me five years and I won't upgrade unless there's something really outstanding and I don't expect to see that for a while.

Wouldn’t mind going for the 14 pro or max, just depends on the specs really. A lot of the rumours really fell through this near compared to last so who knows how the 14 series will look.

Yep I have a 12 Pro and am getting the 13 - that's one reason...weight. Also, battery life. 12 Pro is already at 85% health after a year. SMH. Since I have the iUP, why not upgrade every year anyway.

Not really. I'm on the XR too, but I understand its a +10g change so it's not terrible.

Yes. I have the 12 Pro and have never liked how heavy it felt in the hand. While similar to my previous 11 Pro and XR in weight, it has always felt bigger/heavier and the 13 pro is even heavier. This year I am going to get the 13 mini as size is a feature by itself and I miss the smaller form factor for portability and one handed use. I will not miss the telephoto camera much.

I'm quite scared actually because I chose the iPhone 12 based around it's weight last year, but I love the features of the iPhone 13 Pro this year, so am going to have to suck it up and carry around the extra 40 grams :O

It's easier if you have two phones. Get a mini or regular and then the Pro and just take the Pro with you when you need the camera and other features.
