I have an iPhone 7 128gb and I'm thinking of getting the 7 Plus. Is it worth going through the trouble to switch? I've had it longer than the 14 day return policy. Also, the 8 comes out in a few months, should I wait for that?

If you're outside your 14 day return policy, then I don't think you'll be able to return it. If you return it and can except the larger size of the 7+, it has a lot more to offer with the dual camera, additional RAM and 1080 P screen, along with the additional battery life. I really like my 7+.

I had the 7 Plus for about 2 days and said to myself it was way too big, but after reading it took people like a month to get used to it. Now I really regret getting rid of it! I should've waited the full 2 weeks...

Those are my initial thoughts with the 7+, but then I adjusted to the size of it and really appreciate what It has to offer. So I understand exactly what you're saying.

Im on the same boat. I really want to move over to the 7 Plus from my 7, but theres only 6 months left until the new one comes out!! I can't find anyone to trade with and really dont trust buying from an online ad, cuz ive heard of them blacklisting the phones after the sale

I just went from the 7 to the 7 Plus last month. Initially it felt big but not anymore and I love the camera and the better battery life. I am using it in landscape mode more as well.

I lost over $200 to pay AT&T NEXT so I could upgrade and I regret not getting the Plus back on opening day.

I tried and did the same thing. I wanted the better battery and camera setup. I had it for about 9 days and just couldnt get use to it being too big then it should. Those bezels need to be gone on the next plus. I know there are rumors saying more screen in the same footprint. NO we dont need more screen. We need this screen on a smaller footprint. Its doable, look at LG or Samsung. I think we all know at least one version of the 8 will be completly redone. I think there will be the 7s and 7s plus and then an 8 with OLED thats going to be around 5.2 inches or something. I am keeping my 7 unless the 8 is dramatically different and feature worth. Otherwise lets make ios 11 a whole lot better particularly in customizing.

Try putting it on craigslist for a trade plus cash. There are a lot of people who get the Plus but can't get used to the size, so you could get lucky and just swap wth one of them.

I have the & Plus, but just got the regular 7 since it was on sale at Best Buy and the size just feels so much nicer.

I went from 6 to 6 Plus, 6S Plus, 7. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with always wanting what you don't have because the grass is always greener. I also went from Space Grey to Gold to Space Grey and then Jet Black, the gold was great for a change, but black always stays good.

Purely on paper the 7 Plus is a better phone. In reality though it's much more convenient having a small phone that fits your pocket and hand nicely. Using the 6S Plus with a case was just too much and now I don't want to go back from my normal sized 7.

My dad actually got the SE, what a great size that is. Missing out on so many features is just not worth it, can't say that 7 - 7 Plus has the same feature-gap.

I'm in the same boat, really thinking of going to the 7+ from the 7. I had the plus for a week or so, then returned it. Thought it was too big at the time, but thinking I didn't give it enough time. We probably won't be able to get our hands on the iPhone 8 until Christmas time with all these supply constraint rumors.

I went from the 5s to the 6 Plus, and now I have the 7 Plus. I love the size for everything. It fits in my pocket with no issues. I run with it, and the size makes it easier for me to see the info on my running app and to make changes to the music or podcasts that I'm listening to. My wife has the 7, and it's way too small for me. All that said, it's a highly personal choice, and I understand why others choose differently

I went from a 6 to a 6s Plus, and I have no regrets. It all depends on how comfortable you are with the size--however, I'd hold out on getting the 7 Plus right now and just wait until the 7s Plus/8 Plus drops to go for the Plus size. Upgrading mid-cycle just for screen size isn't really worth it IMO.

Going from a 6 to 6s+.... size wise, it took me half a day to adjust. I've had the plus model and haven't looked back. The 7+ has even more to offer than the 6s+. Battery life is phenomenal.

I managed to keep my 6 plus for a year and then couldn't deal with it any longer.Battery life was never all that great for me so no big there but I still miss the screen daily.

I think if you have an iPad for use at home you don't necessarily need a bigger iPhone. I'm content with the 4.7" size.

6 months for the 8 if you are lucky and are up at midnight and preorder in the first 3 minutes. Otherwise, add another 2 months to that. So most likely 8 months at the earliest to get an 8.

I am in the same boat. I was torn at purchase, stuck with smaller phone for convenience of carrying, but have been torn since. On top of that, the new red is gorgeous and fueling the debate once more.

Ha. Yeah the red does look great in person

Why not have both phones, big & small & just swap out the SIM when you want a different size for a while?

At this point, I would just keep your 7 and wait for the next generation iPhone to get the plus model.
