Morning

Does anyone know if the Iphone is a Unique phone?

By this i mean - it ca hook up to a Home Wireless Interenet Network to boost its signal with the Service provider?

I live in an area of the UK with poor reception and was told that some phones can boost there signal using this method?

It has wifi to increase your data range, but I don't believe it will use wifi for calls. So to answer your question I won't do what you're looking for it to do

That's up to your service provider. Some offer devices that hook up to Wifi that create cell signals using that connection. AT&T just started coming out with their device this last month.

I have no idea if they have that where you are or not, but that's what you'd be looking for.

I'm not exactly sure how it works.

But when i spoke to Orange - UK, and explained i was having problems with my reception they told me that some phones can use a wireless internet connection to boost signal?

LG GT505 is one of these, but they are not sure whether an Iphone can do this yet?
