Ive been hearing a lot about the X and im wondering how fast its going to sell out, Is it really going to be that big of a "race" to pre order before the so called limited stock sells out?

Just a thought. I will deff be up and ready for that pre order!

Pending on what the supply is like (which I think will be very limited IMO), The first run will probably sell out in seconds on Apple’s website.

My advise is to use the Apple Store App on your iphone or iPad to try to preorder one immediately when it comes available.

Doesn’t hurt that your shipping & billing address & payment info is up to date as well.

It's hard for me to answer that. I want to say yes but then I want to say no cause people think 1-1.1 grand is a lot for a phone

60 Second in stock ...
So people

will get crazi hit for this ......

Ive always had the best results using that method.

if you order within say 2-3 mins then you have a good chance and then it could be 2-3 weeks which for me which be acceptable.

Will be sold out at 12:01. Apple is playing all of us with this "pre-order" and "release" dates. As long as you are able to pre-order on the date specified they have met their goal. As long as some receive and are able to pick up on release day they have met their goal. The rest will wait a min of 4 weeks to get their X. Mark this post.

Hard to say. My gut says it will move units, but at the price I’d imagine it sells out a bit slower.

It'll sell out asap just like a supreme or Yeezy release. My plan is try and order 2 on preorder night. Then camp as well on Nov. 2nd

If someone can't get a decent shipping date when they try to order online. Will the next option be being at the Apple Store when they open November 3rd? Or, have their changed the procedure so it's no longer beneficial for people to camp out? A lot of in-store pick-ups are by appointment now.

Four weeks isn't horrible to me. I just wonder if the actual wait will slip to almost four months. The more I've thought on that the more unacceptable that would be when the IPhone 8/8 Plus is so good. I'm actually favoring the iPhone 8 Plus for many reasons and plan to see it later today. I would still be ordering the X for my husband though. We'd both be placing orders and see where we can land him in the queue. He's definitely waiting for the X while I'm on the fence about it. I really like the idea of getting the last, most refined version of the iPhone 6 Plus form factor.

It will sell VERY fast, however, there are things to consider: there's a gap between 8 series vs x vs previous gen phones vs not buying vs android world battles going on here. TBH, IMO, this year release have been awkward for me. I guess there are too many variables.

Depends how badly you want it.

No one really knows. They have had launched in the past where they told people there will be no stock for walk-in customers, only preorder pickups. Apple reservation system will probably be the next best thing of offered

The only problem is I bet 80% of people use the app. Back when the app worked way better was when people used computer more and phones less

Yeah, too many people know about the app and everyone thinks they will get an X because they will be pre ordering by the app!

Maybe the website will go live first this time, royally ****ing every single person who's trying to get one via the app, so it means those of us who order from website will guaranteed get one on Nov 3rd!

Haha maybe, but not me. I'll have website on MacBook and App on phone open and refreshing constantly past 8am

I'm guessing it will be very difficult. New form factor in a long time coupled with the fact that there is no shortage of people who are willing to shell out the money. People will complain and moan all they want, but they WILL fork out the money, especially once they see/feel the phone in person.

I'm pre ordering 2 for pick up at a local store. Hoping that I can get them within 4 weeks of launch. If I can't, i'll likely wait for the iPhone X plus next year, which i'll be upgrading to anyways whether i get the X or not.

It’s been this way for years. The app was only ninja for the first two years it was around.
