Is the new Macbook air in Apple stores today?

So you can't play with them yet? I'll be stopping by an apple store tomorrow for my iPhone and i was really looking forward to playing on the new MBA's...
Called the Apple store, " do you have the air in stock? Yes we do". Drove three hours and they did have it in stock....the old one

This happened when I wanted the HDD model in 2008. I must have driven to the store a half dozen times only to find the old model HDD one and the new SSD model. If you recall there was a huge delay in getting the HDD models out the door. Despite my calling, I always got a rep who said yes and was wrong. I guess they figured I'd eventually break down and buy the SSD model.
Available today is likely only online and I would not guess that many stores will have them today or even tomorrow unless you're near a flagship store. I believe Southpoint Durham NC is one, 5th AVE of course, etc.

im on a business trip in houston right now... just clarifying as my location says canada and the galleria houston store does NOT have any... but they stated they will get some in a few days

I see a couple of unboxing videos of the 11.6", already up on youtube.
Both of them end without finding the new O/S restoration stick, which must be underneath the cardboard insert. The size of a hand on the 11.6" case, is shocking to see. A giant hand.... no.... it's the case that's so small. (And since 11.6" is an established screen size, there are lots of shoulder bags for this, already on the market. Unless the thinness will make the fit loose, in the that direction!

i think all the unboxing videos so far are from journalists/review websites. the usb is found underneath the first set of documents.
