Is the "Paint" effect gone with pictures

Is the paint effect and over processing that the camera firmware or app did now gone or improved with the new ios 11 camera app?

I love Halide, but Lightroom is a close second.

I've tried several and settled on ProShot.

What's said is often RAW shots don't look as vibrant simply because Apple does a lot of processing to show you that JPG. You can, of course, touch them up later to look even better. I which I could just shoot RAW in the Apple camera app as that has the best Ui to me.
