Is the RAM I bought compatible?

I have a mid 2012 13 in MacBook Pro, 2.5 CPU. I have some DDR3L PC31600 204 pin memory that I bought a while back.

Would it be compatible with the laptop?

It should be OK, but Macs can be picky about RAM. Assuming it isn't certified for Apple machines the only way to find out is pop it in. I am fairly confident it will be fine though.
