If so, it'll basically look the same as the 11 Pro models. I should've gotten the black color for my 11 Pro Max. The green has become a distinguished staple of the 11 model, as the blue will become for 12. Getting a black, no would know haha

I had the 11 Pro Max but at 0.5 lbs, it was too bulky to carry around so I went back to just the 11 Pro. But if they're able to get the 6.7" 12 Pro Max to somehow be lighter than the 11 Pro Max I would seriously considering switching back.

I think people that think the notch will be smaller are going to be disappointed.

Most are guessing like this. LiDAR scanner added, smaller notch and different corners.

Still not a compelling upgrade imho.

I want it to be no notch for my next iPhone. I’d I’m gonna drop 1300 on another phone I want it to be different than my xs max.

Awe. So a smaller notch isn’t a compelling upgrade?

I think I’m the only one who hates the square edged design. It’s so industrial looking! Horrible. Rounded sides are much nicer.
I agree...I like the rounded edges better too.
The squared edges reminds me of the iPhone 4 to be honest

i would like to see them eliminate the notch and include Always On Display (AOD)

The design seems to be a step backward in my eyes, that’s my own opinion but it’s not the end of the world.

I love my 11 PM , so the only way I’m gonna upgrade is if they come out with no notch at all.

I’ll be waiting for the next generation 2021, that will be refined 120 Hz , longer life battery , 5G , notchless phone.

Nope. Frankly the x/xs max notch doesn’t bother me but when I spend 1.3k cash on a phone I want it to be a big difference than my current phone where it’s noticeable on a day to day use. A fingerprint print sensor would be one feature I want that solves certain use cases such as laying on the table and morningg time unlocking. The xs max has a great screen and my next phone has to be a big jump to justify spending money to upgrade it.

Starting to miss Jonny Ives. His design approach was always unique and appreciated. Since he left iPhone hardware has basically stayed the same (except for camera)

The 11 is more or less identical to the XS, which was more or less identical to the X, which was a refinement of the 6/6S/7, which was itself a 'step backward', being a return to the rounded style of the original iPhone/3G/3GS.

The iPhone X was not a refinement of the 6/6s/7/8, refinement by definition means improvement by small changes.

The X was a whole new design with big changes, the introduction of the full screen design and Face ID being the main two.

I’m right along with you and the squarish sides. I hated them on the 4/5 series and was so ecstatic they went away starting with the 6 series. I’m hoping this year’s iPhone (if it’s released) do not go back to the square sides.
