Is the Speaker Wire Loose ?

I thought the soundcard was fried for the past few weeks, but the sound came back miraculously today, but then would get really loud and distorted before konking out

I noticed that knocking or tapping on top of the laptop cover where the soundcard is at, it kicks in, but then the F3-F5 keys are nonfunctional and it is set at one volume

So is it due to a loose wire?
