Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew if the Atheros wireless card in the new Macbook Pro (Santa Rosa) supports the new 802.11n Draft 2.0 standard or the older 1.0 standard? Thanks.

and let me tell you its mind blowing fast !!!! (I'm using a d-link DIR-655)

I was thinking of getting a DIR-655...but because it's 802.11n Draft 2.0, if the MBP is Draft 1.0, I was worried about incompatibilities between the two.

If there are any incompatibilities, I haven't noticed any. I picked up a DIR-655 just for my new MBP, and the two work flawlessly together. Bye, bye to Linksys routers and their connection drops.

I'm fairly sure it's Draft 1.0.

There are no incompatibilities between the two.

Draft 2.0, however, is guaranteed 100% compatible with the final spec if I remember correctly.

Realistically, there will be few issues between draft N and final N.
