While most know I am waiting to see what happens at WWDC as far as RevB or even possibly Rev C release, my wife, who is becoming more frustrated with her PC is contemplating a SSD Rev A. Should she go for it? While she knows she wants a SSD she wants to know how big a difference the new processor makes and whether it is still worth the 1300 bucks?

Thanks..

I dont think I would pay that much for Rev A Air. I am sure you could do better on craigslist ebay or the forums here.

NO.

I would pay $2499 for the rev B, or $2149 for a rev B MBA refurbished with 1.86 GHz CPU and SSD LOONNGGGG before I would ever pay $1299 for an original MBA.

I would not pay more than $800 for a Rev A since you can get a Rev B on ebay at about $1400 and from Apple at $1550 (both HDD) and those are going to be 'faster' than the Rev A SSD anyhow.

Now, if all you have is $800 bucks and need a laptop, I rather a REv A at $800 than nothing, personally anyway.
