So I got the MMS enabled no problems. Maybe it's me but has anybody noticed when you send a text message each line only holds 3-4 words max now as opposed the 5-6 words previously. It seems the text messages are more "boxed-in" and only hold a few words per line. Its not as pleasant to read as it was before the MMS was activated.

Comments and thoughts?

I would guess this is because there is now an camera icon that takes up some space that once was more of the text box?

EDIT: Read it wrong. Sorry guys.

it's becuase the camera icon takes up some space. if the space where u input the text is smaller, the text bubble in the conversation will have to be smaller too. so that comment above about the camera icon was right

I'm not following that logic... Why would one space have anything to do with the other?

Anyway, for me, text bubbles for regular SMS messages are still showing up the larger size like they used to be previously, it's only when I send a text along with a picture that the bubble gets smaller.

it's not hard to follow. the place where the txt goes in is smaller, so it's not going to get bigger once u send it

Oh brother. It's only smaller when you enter text because of the camera icon. If you don't send a picture the text will show up in a normal sms text bubble.

Oh brother?

the camera icon is always next to the input box, so it will be that size always, unless you don't fill up the first line

I've sent a few 'test' messages and compared them to older texts I had on the phone before the MMS activation. It definitely goes to the next line after about 4-5 words as to where before you could get a good 6 or so.

It's just more annoying to read, almost like youre reading newspaper classifieds.

It could very well be that the camera icon boxed in the text input field, this resulting in the text breaking in a smaller manner when sent.
