Is there a calender app

That lets me be reminded of upcoming events or tasks that I need to do, on the lock screen..like if you get a text, like a notification like that

No, it doesn't do just what he wants.



You'd need to jailbreak it to do that functionality. Unfortunately Apple doesn't allow "today screen" programs like that yet.

Spikey: Alarms from appointments will show on your lock screen but nothing that tells you upcoming events in general.

This my biggest gripe since getting a 3GS - no jailbreak=no lock calendar/intelliscreen.

The only "workaround" I have no is to have google calendar send me a daily event email reminder at 5 am each day.
