I am interested in adding *both* a bootable SSD-on-pcie disk *and* usb3 support to my 2009 mac pro 4,1.

The SSD-on-pcie card that seems best to me (please correct if I am wrong) is the OWC Mercury Accelsior E2. Those m.2 slots are for PCIe SSDs, not SATA SSDs, correct ?

But it would sure be nice to not use up two cards to get SSD + USB3 ...

Does there exist a dual m.2 card like the Accelsior E2 that *also has* one or more USB3 ports on it ?

That way I could just use up a single pcie slot instead of two ....

Thanks.

i'm pro reseller in paris, as my knowledge, there is no card like this you asked, why? they are different chips maybe, i'm not a engineer, but both differents stuctures and differents speed, need pass on same time on same pcie slot, on one chip? seem too complecated to controler, maybe in the future, but now i didnot see any similar product, good luck.
